Talking Statues is led by a team of qualified professionals who have developed and conceptualized the project. David Peter Fox, the founder, possesses a deep curiosity for technology and a passion for history. He found the project particularly exciting due to its potential for global collaboration with individuals who wish to share their statues and monuments through the lens of history using new media.
Throughout Fox’s professional career, he has worked as a TV producer for numerous years, gaining valuable experience in newsrooms and overseeing the production of documentary programs for national television. This background has honed his skills when it comes to uncovering compelling stories, conducting thorough research, and effectively conveying them in a captivating and dramatic manner.
Alongside this work, Fox has managed projects for leading companies, including Apple Computer, Yahoo, MTV Nordic, ViaSat, JVC, Nikon, Canon, American Express, Novo Nordisk, and many others. Much of his collaborations with these companies were facilitated through a project he founded called VideoMarathon, which successfully ran for 12 years at Nordisk Film, the largest film production company in Northern Europe.
The team has successfully managed Talking Statues projects for 10 years and has participated in collaborations in various cities such as Copenhagen, London, Berlin, New York, San Diego, Scotland, and even in Eastern and Western European countries. With extensive experience in every aspect of the process and each stage of delivery, the company excels in finding suitable statues, coordinating writers and actors, designing signs, and programming the Talking Statues app.
